Much news is coming in regarding lipo-suction.  Apparently women who have lipo-suction are spared the progression of fat.  Unfortunately, insurance companies view this procedure as cosmetic.  One of our sisters who writes to me has a specialist in lipedema.  They have fought hard with her insurance carrier to receive lipo-suction to no avail.  She will be in a chair within a year and she is in her 40's. Ironically, lipo is much cheaper than wheel chairs, surgeries and subsequent wound care surgeries, more operations, and frequent hospitalizations. If you have experience with lipo-suction, please share it with the rest of us, pro or con.
